How to find your exact phone model before ordering a part
Two phones with the same marketing name often use different parts. Read your exact model code in under a minute.

A "Redmi Note 12" can be a Note 12 4G, a Note 12 5G, a Note 12 Pro or a Note 12 Pro+. They share a name and a rough shape, but displays, charging ports and frames are not interchangeable between them.
Ordering against the marketing name is the most common reason a part arrives and does not fit. It is also the most avoidable, and it takes about a minute to rule out.

Open the About screen
Android: Settings → About phone → Model number. iPhone: Settings → General → About → Model Number.

Read the code, not the name
You want a code such as 22111317I, SM-A146B or A2882 — not the friendly marketing name. On iPhone, tap the model number once to switch from the part number (starting M, N or F) to the model identifier starting with A.

If the phone will not power on
The model code is usually printed in small text on the back panel, under the SIM tray, or on the original box.

Match it against the listing
Every listing on this site names the handsets that part fits. Check your code or exact variant against that list before adding to cart.

If your variant is not named, ask
Do not order the closest match and hope. Call and someone will check the physical stock against your model code.
Common questions
- My model number has a letter suffix. Does it matter?
- Often yes. Regional suffixes on Samsung codes (SM-A146B vs SM-A146P) can indicate different display or charging assemblies. Quote the whole code when asking.
- Two variants look identical. Can I use either part?
- Not reliably. 4G and 5G versions of the same handset frequently use different flex routing even when the chassis looks the same.
